From the very first year, students apply the Engineering Design Process to tackle real-world challenges. Each project guides them through identifying problems, generating ideas, building and testing prototypes, and documenting progress in a professional Engineering Notebook. These notebooks include sketches, data, iterations, and test results — helping students reflect on their process and measure improvements with authentic engineering metrics.
Preparing for IGCSE Design & Technology
As they advance, students develop a strong foundation aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE Design & Technology curriculum. They learn to apply Design Thinking to structure their ideas, ask guiding questions, and propose innovative and sustainable solutions.
Each project integrates Balanced Scorecard metrics — On Time, On Budget, On Quality — ensuring that students understand how to plan, execute, and deliver within real-world constraints.
Digital Citizenship & Google Workspace
In addition to engineering, our students become responsible digital citizens, learning how to navigate the online world safely, ethically, and collaboratively.
Through daily use of Google Workspace tools — including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms — they manage their projects, analyse data, prepare presentations, and document their learning journey. These tools empower students to communicate ideas effectively, organise their work, and collaborate as a team.
Teamwork, Leadership, and Real Results
Students use Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to define goals, track milestones, and distribute responsibilities within their teams. This project management approach fosters leadership, accountability, and strategic thinking, preparing them for success in both academic and professional environments.
