The IBDP develops essential life skills and a global outlook, preparing students not only for success at leading universities, but also for the demands of today's world.

At our High School in Mexico City, the IBDP is a natural fit with our focus on academic rigour, international-mindedness, and service learning, continuing the strong foundations built in earlier years.

IBDP Subjects

Our students can choose from a broad range of IBDP subjects, particularly in Group 3 (Individuals and Societies), where we currently offer History, Economics, Psychology, and Global Politics, and Group 4 (Sciences), with options such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Most students take Spanish Language & Literature in Group 2, enabling them to graduate with a bilingual IB Diploma.

In addition, all students complete the IB core components: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS).

High school with STEM in Interlomas

STEM Curriculum

In our STEM programme, students progress through a hands-on curriculum that combines mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles. In Year 10, they begin integrating systems and control, learning programming, working with microcontrollers, and prototyping using 3D printing. By Year 11, students take on real-world projects to prepare for their IGCSE Design & Technology exam, refining their design portfolios and exploring sustainable and ethical design practices.

This approach not only equips students with the technical skills needed for future careers in technology and engineering, but also nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and innovation.

As a result of this strong preparation, our High School students consistently excel in regional and national STEM competitions, most recently winning first place out of 50 teams at a national event and securing top prizes at prestigious competitions hosted by ITAM and TEC de Monterrey.
